Ventilator & Respiratory Care

Our Respiratory Therapy department operates 24/7 and offers complete inpatient respiratory care services for our patients, from admission to discharge.

All therapists have graduated from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program and are licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners along with being certified in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support to deliver and perform a comprehensive variety of respiratory procedures and other services to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. This is accomplished by utilizing the most advanced equipment and techniques with the corroboration of Pulmonologists and Critical Care Physicians.

Inpatient Pulmonary Care Services include:

Airway management
Blood gas draw and analysis (diagnostic testing)
Bronchoscopy procedure
Delivery of Respiratory medications
EKG
High-Flow oxygen therapy
IPPB/IPV therapy
Mechanical breathing assistance

Non-invasive ventilation (CPAP/BiPAP)
